Best Mexican restaurant by far. Authentic atmosphere, great food, very nice personnel and fair prices! Self made nachos, dips and burritos. Whoever is near this place should definitely stop by!!

We are tourists visiting Europa park and wanted to have Mexican food. This place was great. Fresh and great Tex-Mex food . We had the Polo burrito and quesadillas.The waitress Laura was kind and great. She made sure everything was ok and helped us choose from the menu. I noticed that they had a bowling alley which is an extra! Thank you

Stopped in after visiting EuropaPark and we were very glad that we did! This is a great spot to sit down and enjoy dinner after a busy day. It offers a unique alternative with Tex-Mex compared to other German restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, which consisted of fairly large portion sizes at very affordable prices. The server was wonderful and helped get us orientated in English which was much appreciated. Highly recommend having a meal here if you are in the area!

Really lovely find after a long day at Euopa Park. Restaurant was just around the corner from our hotel. Service was fantastic and the positive reviews already given were correct. Area is split into two sections with the bar on one side and restaurant on the other. Drinks arrived quickly along with the starter which was shared. Food all seemed to be homemade and tasted great. Main courses arrived promptly and again could not fault them. Be aware that it is cash only and opening times are limited but we'll worth a visit if you are in the area.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Europe. The food is autentic, fantastic and best of all, well prepared and served with passion. We stayed in Kenzingen only for convinience, and found CHACO TEX MEX by pure chance. We were a little skeptical at first as the restaurant is situated in a secluted part of Kenzingen in a light industrial Area. Entering the restaurant, it looked like a regular bar with a large room decorated in mexican style next to it. However the waitress greeting us was Nice and quickly found a table for us (we were 8 persons) and told us (in german) about the food. She even recommended different dishes and drinks that fitted nicely to our wishes. We waited a little for the food but drinks came straight away. We were totally blown away by the quality and taste of the food. The portions were fitting sizes and it was easy to taste that the food was made with fresh materials and a portion of love for Mexican food. On a normal tuesday an wensday (yes, we went there TWICE. Thats how good it was) there were plenty of locals eating at CHACO TEX MEX and the atmosphere was lose and cozy. We meet both waitress’ and the chef, and they were all Nice and forthcoming. If you are ever staying in the Kenzingen/Freiburg/Rust Area CHACO TEX MEX is a must visit for dinner. Only Small negativ thing to say is that the a’la carte restaurant is only open monday to thursday, as the owners are concentrating on closed parties in the weekends. But thats okay, as the prices is fair for going out to eat on a normal week day. All the best recommendations from us!

We came here after a great day at Europa park. We looked specifically for a highly rated restaurant and this place did not disappoint. You can really taste that the food is home made, and the service was lovely. Take note: you can only pay with cash, we found the closest ATM to be the Volksbank near the train station. 10/10 would come back again!
